It is bounded on the east by 27th Ave., on the north by Camelback Rd., and on the south by Queen Creek Rd. The district’s western boundary generally follows the approximate alignment of 143rd Ave., which is the border between Avondale and Goodyear. Minorities represent 78.3 percent of the district’s total population and 75.4 percent of its voting age population.
